"We are now in the "process stage" of commercializing our technology." said chairman of 4ds memory ltd. (ASX:4DS) jim dorrian WHILE IN SYDNEY ON AN AUSTRALIAN SHAREHOLDER ROADSHOW.
4ds memory has developed a new type of storage technology to meet the massive amounts of data soon to be generated through things like the internetof things, autonomous cars and artificial intelligence.

the 4ds technology is as fast as dram (current industry gold standard) but uses dramatically less power and takes up a fraction of the physical space, among other benefits.
in an interview with inside market's editor phil carey, dorrian explained, "initially working with a subsidiary of the world's largest hard drive company western digital (2016/17), was our "takeoff runway" for the technology.
"but working now with imec in belgium is our landing spot."
imec is the world's foremost commercialization facility with three and a half thousand staff and a full commercial grade chip manufacturing (fabrication) plant valued at 10 billion dollars.
in a two-part interview, (part two out next week), dorrian explained how the technology is not only in the hands of the world's best commercializATION team but is also now exposed to global technology manufacturers IN THE PROCESS.
